AIESEC is a global, non-political, non-profit youth-run organization that develops the leadership potential of young people through international internships and volunteer exchanges. It is the world's largest youth-run organization, with over 400,000 members in over 120 countries and territories. AIESEC has a three-level hierarchy: Global:  The AIESEC Global Platform is the highest level of the organization and is responsible for setting the overall strategy and direction for AIESEC. AIESEC elections are held annually at all three levels of the organization: global, national, and local. The elections are used to elect the members of the AIESEC Global Platform, the National Committees, and the Local Committees.
