MY JOURNEY

A journey in AIESEC is a journey of self-discovery, leadership development, and global citizenship. It is a journey that will take you to different countries, introduce you to new cultures, and challenge you to grow as a person.

When you first join AIESEC, you will be welcomed into a supportive community of young people who are all passionate about making a difference in the world. You will learn about AIESEC's mission and values, and you will start to develop your own leadership skills.

As you continue your journey in AIESEC, you will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of programs and activities. You could volunteer on a social impact project in a developing country, intern at a multinational corporation, or start your own business. No matter what you choose to do, you will gain valuable experience and learn new skills.

Your journey in AIESEC will also be a journey of cultural discovery. You will meet people from all over the world and learn about their cultures and perspectives. This will help you to develop a global outlook and to become more understanding and tolerant of others.

AIESEC Hierarchy

AIESEC is a global, non-political, non-profit youth-run organization that develops the leadership potential of young people through international internships and volunteer exchanges. It is the world's largest youth-run organization, with over 400,000 members in over 120 countries and territories. AIESEC has a three-level hierarchy: Global:  The AIESEC Global Platform is the highest level of the organization and is responsible for setting the overall strategy and direction for AIESEC. It is composed of 21 elected members from around the world. National:  The AIESEC National Committees are responsible for overseeing the activities of AIESEC in their respective countries. AIESEC elections are held annually at all three levels of the organization: global, national, and local. The elections are used to elect the members of the AIESEC Global Platform, the National Committees, and the Local Committees. The AIESEC Global Platform elections are held during the AIESEC Global Congress, which is the organization's highest decision-making body.
