AIESEC is a global, non-political, non-profit youth-run organization that develops the leadership potential of young people through international internships and volunteer exchanges. It is the world's largest youth-run organization, with over 400,000 members in over 120 countries and territories.
AIESEC has a three-level hierarchy:
Global:
The AIESEC Global Platform is the highest level of the organization and is responsible for setting the overall strategy and direction for AIESEC. It is composed of 21 elected members from around the world.
National:
The AIESEC National Committees are responsible for overseeing the activities of AIESEC in their respective countries. They are also responsible for coordinating with the AIESEC Global Platform and providing support to the Local Committees.
Local:
The AIESEC Local Committees (LCs) are the smallest unit of the organization and are responsible for implementing AIESEC's programs and activities in their local communities. LCs are typically run by students at universities and colleges.

Each level of the AIESEC hierarchy is led by a team of elected members. The AIESEC Global Platform is led by the International President, who is elected by the AIESEC Global Congress, the organization's highest decision-making body. The AIESEC National Committees are led by National Presidents, who are elected by the AIESEC National Congresses. The AIESEC Local Committees are led by Local Committee Presidents, who are elected by the AIESEC Local Committee Assemblies.
AIESEC members can volunteer to take on a variety of roles within the organization, including:
Team Member:
Team Members are the backbone of AIESEC and are responsible for carrying out the day-to-day activities of the organization.
Team Leader:
Team Leaders are responsible for leading a team of Team Members and ensuring that the team's goals are met.
Vice President:
Vice Presidents are responsible for overseeing a specific department or function within the organization.
President:
The President is the highest-ranking member of the organization and is responsible for leading the organization and ensuring that it achieves its goals.
AIESEC members develop their leadership skills through a variety of training programs and workshops. They also have the opportunity to travel the world and learn about different cultures through AIESEC's international exchange programs.
AIESEC is a unique organization that provides young people with the opportunity to develop their leadership skills, make a difference in the world, and experience new cultures.
